ABOUT THE elite SCHOLAR award
The SLB ISF offers an annual Elite Scholar Award to aspiring young men that attend a qualifying university that includes Indiana University in Bloomington, Purdue University Northwest, and Purdue University in West Lafayette. Applications are available in the Spring and will be announced on this page.

THE ELITE SCHOLAR AWARD APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN
- Scholarship Award: $250 to $1,000
- Eligibility: Full-time male students
- Application Deadline: June 17th, 2022
- Announcement of Award Recipient: June 24th, 2022
- Qualifying Indiana Institutions:
- Indiana University, Bloomington
- Purdue University Northwest
- Purdue University, West Lafayette
Requirements
- NO applications will be considered with incomplete or missing information.
- Must be a male and current Freshman, Sophomore or Junior at a qualifying school:
- Indiana University, Bloomington
- Purdue University Northwest
- Purdue University-West Lafayette
- Must be a full-time student during the 2022-2023 academic year (12+ credit hours); Submit proof of enrollment: FAFSA confirmation letter or unofficial university transcript
- Must have and maintain an overall GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale; Submit proof of GPA: high school or unofficial university transcript
- Submit a professional resume (1 page limit)
- Submit a Letter of Recommendation on official letterhead; Should be academic (i.e. a professor, teacher, advisor). No relatives or family members.
- Award recipient must plan to attend or submit a video testimony for the Sigma Lambda Beta Chicago Alumni Network (CAN) Scholarship Gala in Fall 2022.
